From Facts to Creative Action
Stand Up for Truth – OSFA
FusionACT has concluded the training phase of the “Stand Up for Truth” project, engaging over 100 young participants. Through interactive sessions, they explored local democracy, active citizenship, media literacy, fact-checking, and the impact of disinformation in today’s digital environment.
Combining training and mentorship, participants worked with verified information and learned how to transform it into creative, engaging, and accessible content for their peers and wider audiences.
The trainings were delivered across three regions of Albania, in partnership with four schools: “Havzi Nela” (Kukës), “Kajo Karafili” (Shijak), “Qemal Stafa” (Tirana), and the “Liceu Artistik” (Tirana).
The project now continues with a series of workshops and the production of short creative reels by selected participants, allowing them to apply their newly acquired skills in practice.
By blending humour with media literacy, “Stand Up for Truth” encourages young people to think critically about the information they encounter while developing their voices as storytellers, active citizens, and responsible digital creators.
Through this initiative, FusionACT Centre reaffirms its commitment to empowering youth with critical thinking skills, strengthening civic engagement, and promoting informed, responsible, and impactful communication.
