KUKËS – Two youth-led initiatives supported by the “One Click – ACT!” project have been successfully implemented, turning creative ideas into tangible community impact.

The group Los Amigos launched “Cinema in My City!”, a new space dedicated to regular film screenings aimed at enriching the cultural and educational experience of local youth and residents. The initiative creates a welcoming environment for learning, discussion, and connection through cinema, providing young people with access to inspiring stories and visual narratives often missing from traditional education settings.

Meanwhile, the group ALPHA activated the school environment with their project “My Sports Field”, organizing a full Week of Sports packed with tournaments and team activities. Thanks to newly acquired equipment for volleyball, basketball, and football, students took part in friendly matches and competitions that promoted physical wellbeing, teamwork, and community spirit. The initiative encouraged an active lifestyle while strengthening student engagement and cooperation.

Both projects were developed during the Innovation Boot Camp and selected during the Pitching Event in December 2024. With seed funding and ongoing mentorship, the youth teams demonstrated how creativity, teamwork, and commitment can lead to meaningful grassroots change.

“One Click – ACT!” is implemented by FusionACT Centre and Ecologists for the Region, with the support of the Alternative Pathways Programme, funded by the UK Government and implemented by the British Council Albania.
