“The Truthman Show”

Element Studios and FusionACT Centre have launched “The Truthman Show”, a dynamic new initiative using stand-up comedy to fight misinformation in Albania.

For the first time in Albania and the Western Balkans, this unique format brings live performances that blend humour, irony, and sarcasm to confront the country’s misinformation landscape.

Three performances will be held in popular night venues in Tirana, where audiences will engage in real-time fact-checking and be invited to challenge common myths on gender equality, health, and the environment.

The project is implemented by Element Studios and FusionACT Centre with the support of the SEE Check Network and is funded by the European Union.

This initiative offers a fresh and creative approach to media literacy and strengthens community resilience against disinformation.
