Art for Palestine Campaign
FusionACT Centre has officially concluded its Art for Palestine campaign, an open call that invited artists to respond to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine through visual storytelling. The campaign aimed to raise awareness and show solidarity by using art as a tool for reflection, resistance, and remembrance.
The initiative received a heartfelt response from artists across Albania, each contributing works that powerfully captured the emotional and symbolic weight of the Palestinian struggle.
Three works were selected for public presentation:
- Henrik Pacrami, with “Omari the Great”, depicted the Great Omari Mosque as a symbol of resilience, courage, and unwavering strength in the face of destruction.
- Albina Nuraj presented a haunting image of a kneeling child from Gaza, where light becomes both a symbol of hope and devastation—a poignant reflection on fragility and human endurance.
- Enxhi Arapi delivered a bold abstract piece, blending the colours of the Palestinian flag stained with blood, yet unbroken—expressing identity, betrayal, and the refusal to surrender life even in the darkest moments.
FusionACT extends deep gratitude to all artists who submitted their work, proving once again the power of art to amplify marginalized voices and foster a deeper understanding of shared human struggles.
The featured artworks remain available on FusionACT’s digital channels, serving as an ongoing tribute to the resilience of the Palestinian people.
